General Manager

We are looking for a General Manager for the asset management company that our client, a holding, is newly establishing.

1. Assembling a non-hierarchical team, establishing a horizontal organizational culture and bringing together a dynamic mix of experience
2. Establishing a portfolio governance framework; includes structure, policies and procedures, tools and infrastructure, metrics, corporate compliance and internal controls

1. Having an ability to derive benefits from other subsidiaries leaders within the Holding
2. Willing to manage the board which is expected to be hands-on and turning it into benefit such as knowledge, credibility and resources
3. Developing investment strategies and a client base
4. Monitoring trades, portfolios and adjusting asset allocations
5. Reporting investment performance regularly and presenting to the Board

PROFILE

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
2. Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in asset/fund management field.
3. Excellent command of written and spoken English,
4. Candidates with an ownership mentality, non-hierarchical thinking and strong financial background as well as having hands-on engagement with the company
5. Extensive knowledge of investing and markets and be able to match portfolios to each client’s unique expectations
6. Having exceptional track record to demonstrate ability to generate good returns over market cycles in different markets
7. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
8. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
9. Strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives.
10. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
11. Solid understanding of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory requirements.
